And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. —Joel 2:32

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” —Romans 10:13-15

Now here is a simple fact—“And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” No amount of works, of doing whatever can save a person. Nor is there any person good enough to be saved or go to heaven.   Many think they are good enough.   They think they are not as bad as another person may be, but that is not the measurement. No amount of self effort can eradicate sin. That can happen only though the blood of Christ that He shed on the cross for us (I John 2:2). His Name is the only One to call on to be forgiven and to be made fit for heaven. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). Jesus is the only way to be forgiven of sin.   “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Let us has beautiful feet, go to those who have not heard and tell them about Jesus so they can have the opportunity to believe, call on His Name and be saved. Yes, let us be faithful in this.

Dear Father may I be faithful in going to people to share the gospel with them that they can be saved. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
