The Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. Jesus came specifically to bear witness of the Truth (John 18:37) and to take the sins of the whole world upon Himself at the cross (I John 2:2). Then He rose from the dead (Romans 1:4), sent His Holy Spirit to empower His Church (Acts 1:4-5; 2:1-4) and is coming again (Acts 1:9-11).
All other ways are idolatress— all religious systems, all self appointed systems and all the world’s ideas of how to attain heaven or righteousness are wrong— they are in error. Jesus only is “the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through (Him)” (John 14:6). It comes down to whether a person will follow Him or not. There is no in-between of trying to live in the world and for the Lord. Jesus said we are to ‘“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself”’ (Matthew 22:37-39). The question for you and me is— “Do I truly love the Lord God and my neighbor?”
Dear Father thank You for the salvation from sin that comes through calling on the Name of Jesus. Thank You for the eternal life, the forgiveness and the ability to be in relationship with You through Jesus.
