Brothers and sisters, fellow followers/disciples of Jesus, we cannot do anything that brings righteous fruitfulness without our Lord. Jesus Himself said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).

- Paul proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance because THE LORD ALMIGHTY WAS WITH HIM
- He who is thankful and tells of His wonderful deeds does so because THE LORD ALMIGHTY WAS WITH HIM
- He who trusts in the Lord does so because THE LORD ALMIGHTY WAS WITH HIM
Yet there are, unfortunately, so many whose “own folly leads to their ruin.” But not only are they being destructive to their own lives, and others, but “their heart rages against the Lord.” Even through there are so many who do not want to live for the Lord Jesus, a great number of those rage against Him and against those who follow Him. How sad is that? If a person doesn’t believe in something, fine, but they don’t have to seek to destroy others who do.
