I LOVE OUR LORD

I LOVE OUR LORD

I love you, O LORD, my strength.  The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. —Psalm 18:1-2

“Teacher, which commandment is the greatest in the Law?” Jesus declared, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” —Matthew 22:36-40

Do you truly love the Lord Jesus? Jesus said, “Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him” (John 14:21). Obedience to what He says is one indicator that we love Him. It is our desire to “keep his commands and do what pleases him” (I John 3:22).   This type of love for God grows into intimate relationship. Does that describe you?

Is the Lord your strength? Do you depend on His immovable and solid foundation? Do you depend on His protection? Are you trusting in Him and Him alone for your salvation? What a joy to know we can depend and trust in our God for everything. Rejoice!

I love You Lord. I am grateful Father for Who You are and all that You have done for me in Jesus. Oh, that I would live faithfully for You out of the gratitude of my heart. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYV0ce3ybEA&list=PLEjh75knOn9nnyMZT7W0r-tBxZwQ68nKv&index=2
