These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. —Revelation 3:7-8

When God opens a door no man can close it and when God shuts a door no man can open it. He had set before the church of Philadelphia an open door and no one was going to be able to close it.

The apostle Paul asked for prayer that an open door would happen for preaching the word and that was while he was in prison! He had also mentioned in 1 Corinthians 16:9 that there was “a wide-open door for a great work” there “although many oppose” him. He also had gone “to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ and found that the Lord had opened a door” for him there (II Corinthians 2:12). Yes, when the Lord Jesus opens the door, none can close it, but He will accomplish through His people what He desires through that open door.

Does the Lord have an open door before you? Then be obedient and walk through it to accomplish what He has planned for you. Open doors from the Lord are opportunities to bring honor and glory to His Name. So, walk through the doors He has opened and rejoice in being able to walk through to the other side. There is opportunity the Lord is guiding you into. Go though! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsQmsEE_2-s

Dear Father, please help me not to miss the open doors that are before me. Oh, that I would walk through them and seek to honor Your Name in whatever is on the other side. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
