Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court. —Psalm 127:3-5

May you live to see your children’s children— peace be on Israel. —Psalm 128:6

I am truly blessed with the legacy God has and is giving me. My children are from the Lord and I will readily acknowledge that. They each are a blessing and I am grateful to God for them.

The Lord has also blessed me to see my children’s children. What a joy grandchildren are. And what a reminder they are that I am getting… older! To watch your children having children is a marvel. I think back to when my children were my grandchildren’s age and I am astounded how time has wisped by.

My desire is that the Lord would direct them faithfully in the spiritual warfare of this world. That He would protect them and draw them to Himself. Oh, that they would be great testimonies to Him. May it be so Lord!

Dear Father, thank You for the children that you have given me. Be pleased to bless each one greatly. Oh, that each of them would serve You. May it be so. Also, thank You for each of the grandchildren. May they also serve You. Yes, may it be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
