IT IS ALL HIS!

IT IS ALL HIS!

The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth; you founded the world and all that is in it. —Psalm 89:11

The heavens declare the glory of God. —Psalm 19:1

The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. —Psalm 24:1

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. —Romans 1:20

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” —I Corinthians 10:25

Dear Father I am so grateful that You have allowed me to know Jesus through Your Holy Spirit. Your Word is clear— “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day” (John 8:44). I am so glad to know that the heavens and earth and all that is in it belong to You. I am glad to know You founded it and that Your plans and purposes will be fulfilled— “Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be no more delay! But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets” (Revelation 10:5-7).

Yes, “the mystery of God will be accomplished.” There is coming a time when God’s purposes will be finalized for these heavens, this earth and all that is in it. For now “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law” (Deuteronomy 29:29). So may you and I be faithful to what He has revealed to us and trust Him for those things He has chosen not to reveal to us.

If we do not trust Him for those things we do not understand then our lives will be filled with sorrow, grief, hurt and pain. There are so many things we do not understand. Why do difficulties happen? We know some of that answer as God has shown us in His Word, but we do not know all of it. May we be faithful with what we do know and trust Him for what we do not know. He is fully trustworthy!

Dear Father I am so grateful to know I can trust You in all things, the good and the difficult. May I learn what You want me to learn in and through them and trust You for what I do not understand. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIpnW3rtRQ4
