PRAY!

PRAY!

And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations?’ But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’ —Mark 11:17

Prayer! This is what the temple was to be known for— “a house of prayer for all nations.” I wonder… what are our churches known for? The church is made up, of course, of people. What are God’s people known for? Individually, are they people of prayer? Are local churches, His called out ones, known as churches of prayer?

When Jesus told the Parable of the Unjust Judge in Luke 18:1-8, He asked “However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith n the earth?” Prayer and faith are directly connected. Prayer shows our dependency on God, prayerlessness shows our dependency on ourselves! Are you and I people of prayer? Are the local churches we attend churches of prayer? May it be so! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzJqoDzR2tY

Dear Father, Oh, may I speak with You often and trust You for what You desire me to be and do. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
