SHINE LIKE STARS IN THE SKY

Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. —Daniel 12:3

Do you want to shine like the brightness of the heavens, like the stars forever and ever? Then what actions are you taking to lead others to righteousness? Are you seeking to lead the lost to Him who is the Righteous One (I John 2:1)? “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then… with the breastplate of righteousness in place…” (Ephesians 5:13-14). Once we call on the Name of the Lord (Romans 10:13) we have God’s righteousness (II Corinthians 5:21) which is simply astounding as we stand in position blameless before Him. Now as believers we need to live out His righteousness by being and doing right according to His standards. So, what action will you take today to become more like Jesus? What will you do to encourage someone else to be more like Jesus? May the Lord God Almighty give us wisdom in this.

Dear Father, please help me to live right for You today, showing forth Your glory. Oh, may You be please to work through me today to encourage someone else to live a more righteous life for You. May it be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus!
