PERFECT & BLAMELESS

PERFECT & BLAMELESS!

The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. —Hebrews 10:1

It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. — Hebrews 10:4

And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. —Hebrews 10:10

For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. — Hebrews 10:14

Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary. — Hebrews 10:17-18

It is truly astounding, amazing, astonishing, beyond belief and surely too good to be true. But, it is true. What Jesus has done for us should cause us to drop to our knees before Him in praise and adoration. Do you know that you stand in position before God as blameless when you called on Jesus to save you because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross? This song truly get that message across—- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjLlLPZderk

“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (II Corinthians 5:21). Because of the sacrifice of Jesus and our calling on Him for salvation we receive the righteousness of God. The above verses tell us that through His sacrifice we are “made perfect.” Then we are told that “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.” The sin problem has been taken care of and “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.” Rejoice!

Dear Father, thank You for Your great love for me and all that You have done for me in Jesus. Without Him I would have no hope, but through Him I have great hope, confidence and expectation. May I live faithfully in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son.
