I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS

Sergius Paulus, who was an intelligent man. The governor invited Barnabas and Saul to visit him, for he wanted to hear the word of God. But Elymas, the sorcerer (as his name means in Greek), interfered and urged the governor to pay no attention to what Barnabas and Saul said. He was trying to keep the governor from believing. —Acts 13:7-8

There are those who do not believe the Word of God and they also seek to keep others from believing the Word of God. This is what has largely happened in our public schools here in America. There were those who did not believe the Word of God and they did not want children to come to believe either. Any wonder we are in the mess we are in here in the United States?

People from all ranges on the spectrum of intelligence, social, economic strata can come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. There are always those who will oppose. Dear Father, help me to follow closely, be a fisher of men and give You all the glory. Please help me to be faithful in the race You have laid out for me. May it be so in Holy Spirit’s power and by the authority of Jesus.
