THE COMING TYRANNY

It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation… The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666. Revelation 13:7, 15-17

Tyrannical regimes of the past sought to totally control people and so do those types of governments today. People are watched and listened to and if they act or speak contrary to those in leadership, then they are imprisoned or executed. So it is who desire such power. Life to them is cheap and can be snuffed out easily.

A world-wide government leader, a world-wide religious system and a world-wide economic system is on the way. Here in God’s Word it has been written down since the early church that these things would happen in the future. They are still future, but not as in the future as it once was. We are getting closer to these foretold times and the person with wisdom will be able to have insight into all this at the proper time. But it is going to happen. It will come to pass. God’s Word will be fulfilled

In the above verses we are told of a person who will have authority over the whole world. There has been much talk in the past about a world government. There is much more talk about the global community today and it is easy to see some world government system in the not too distant future. The leader of this system will have authority over the whole world. He will seek total control.

There will be a world-wide religious system as well. All those who will not worship as commanded will be killed. This is a religious system of total control as well. People will not be able to worship according to their own desires, but according to dictate.

Finally, there is going to be a world-wide economic system also. People who do not have the “number of a man. That number is 666” will not be able to participate in this system. They will not be able buy anything or sell anything. They will be totally shut out.

Control, total control is what will occur in the future. This is not hard to see happening as nations become more digital in their economies, the movement on our planet of dictating religious groups and the call for global unity. Yes, God’s Word and His plan will come to pass. May we line up with what He is doing now and in the future.

Dear Father, thank You that I am totally safe in Jesus. I look forward to being in that perfect place with Jesus where everything will be right and perfect. Sin, sickness, sadness and death will be gone. Yes, I look forward to that time.
