ONE WAY

Fear not, nor be afraid; have I not told you from of old and declared it? And you are my witnesses! Is there a God besides me? There is no Rock; I know not any.” —Isaiah 44:8

At our daycare there is only one gate in the fence to enter. Everyone who comes into the daycare has to enter through that gate or they are standing on the outside. Only those who have a relationship with us come through the gate.

There is only one God and no other. He is the only way to receive forgiveness and salvation from sin to a relationship with Him. Those of us who know the Lord Jesus Christ are witnesses of these things. We are to let people know that the only way God is through Jesus Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). He is the only gate (John 10:9).

As the gospel goes out into the entire world, whoever calls on His Name will be saved (Romans 10:13). All those who dwell on the earth are being called to repent and to trust in the Lord Jesus (Acts 17:30). Jesus was nailed to the cross to be a sin offering for us. We are engraved on the palms of His hands. This is not to be taken lightly or ignored by people. There are eternal consequences for doing so (John 3:16; Matthew 25:46; Romans 6:23; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:15).

Fellow follower of Jesus, who would He have you bear witness to today? Who will you tell of His love for you and them? May we do so.

Dear Father, thank You for revealing to me that the only way to You is through Jesus Your Son. Now, out of loving gratitude to You, may I be a faithful witness so others can experience this forgiveness of sin and new life through Jesus my Lord.
