SAFE IN THE ALMIGHTY

SAFE IN THE ALMIGHTY

Lord, the God of our ancestors, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you. —II Chronicles 20:6

Take heart, God is at work in this world. He is accomplishing what He desires. There may be times when we wonder about what He is doing, but we do not have the bigger picture of His overall plan. We do know the end result. We do know what He desires us to be. We do know what He desires us to be about. We do know what the signs of the end of the times will be. We do know much, but our knowledge is so limited when compared to God’s. Yet He has given us the Blueprint, the Road Map, the Instruction Manual for life, His Word. If we adhere to His Word we will become what He desires and do what He desire regardless of what is happening in this world.

Be comforted to know that God is sovereign over the nations. They are acting within His allowed boundaries. He sets the boundaries (Acts 17:26) and He turns rulers’ hearts in the direction He desires (Proverbs 21:1). Yes, our God is sovereign over all the nations of this world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYbX-3_a98U Be comforted and encouraged that His plan, which includes you, is going forward.

Yes, take heart because our God is sovereign and accomplishing His will in ways we cannot fully understand. But let us fully trust Him! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lay-r2g52SQ As we are trusting, let us serve Him faithfully. Yes, let us faithfully run the race marked out for us, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus (Hebrews 12:1-2).

Dear Father, none can thwart Your hand. You will accomplish what You desire and I can take great comfort and encouragement in this. I am safe in Your purposes. May I live them out faithfully in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
