ENJOY— WE ARE HERE BRIEFLY!
A generation goes, and a generation comes, but the earth remains forever. —Ecclesiastes 1:4 For of the wise as of the fool there is no enduring remembrance, seeing that in the days to come all will have been long forgotten. BE SHARPENED AND SHARPEN!
BE SHARPENED AND SHARPEN! Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. —Proverbs 27:17 To sharpen a knife, you need a sharpening implement. Iron does not sharpen iron by itself. A knife cannot sharpen itself by itself. It needs some other device for that. Knives, in isolation, cannot be sharpened. So it is with followers of Jesus. They were never meant to be isolated from one another and they surely were not meant to be isolated from the assembly. That is why we are told to “consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the…

IT IS VAIN TO PLOT AGAINST THE LORD!
IT IS VAIN TO PLOT AGAINST THE LORD! Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying, “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.” —Psalms 2:1-3 Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him. —Psalms 2:10-12 “Why do the nations rage and the…
