NOBODY IS RIGHTEOUS EXCEPT BY CALLING ON JESUS TO SAVE THEM

So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him… To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name. —Acts 10:34-35. 43

Enter not into judgment with your servant, for no one living is righteous before you. —Psalm 143: 2

David describes himself as a servant of our Lord.  Yet he also acknowledged that “no one living is righteous before you.”  No one is righteous in themselves.  It is only when we call on the Lord in belief that we are made righteous—- “God made him who had no sin to be sin be for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”  Our Father gave His Son to be a sin offering for us that we could have the righteousness of God— “that righteousness might be credited to” all by faith in Jesus.

This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. —Romans 4:22-25

There is no partiality with God.  So, “in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”  It matters not one’s background.  It matters not what a person has done.  If a person truly believes in Jesus, that person is forgiven and made righteous.  That is the only way a person can know God and be with Jesus forever.  The one who has come into a relationship with Him will then seek to do what is right before Him.  And, Dear Father, may I be and do what You desire.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3Gk1G1scs8
