SALVATION LEADS ONE TO SERVE
SALVATION LEADS ONE TO SERVE
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’” —Matthew 25:34-36
Here are some areas where our Lord expects His people to be involved in. Are we?
- I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.
- I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.
- I was a stranger and you invited me in.
- I needed clothes and you clothed me.
- I was sick and you looked after me.
- I was in prison and you came to visit me.
Salvation does not come from doing good works, but good works come through salvation. I am not saved by the work I do, but because I am saved I desire to do the work He desires me to do. If that is the case then am I involved in any of these areas where He expects me to be involved in?
Some followers of Jesus wonder where they should be involved in, where they should serve. Well they do not have to wonder. Here is a list of ministries. Which would our Lord have you involved in? Will you be involves in any of them?
Dear Father help me to serve in the areas where You desire me to serve in and may it be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. So may it be! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLX83HbefrI
