JESUS— THE AUTHOR OF LIFE

The Author of life —Acts 3:15

The author of their salvation —Hebrews 2:10

The author of eternal salvation —Hebrews 5:9

The author and finisher of our faith, —Hebrews 12:2

            Read any good authors lately?  The author is the one who is the creator of a book.  He is the person behind it.  He is responsible for it.  He is the source and origin of it.

Jesus is the Author of all life!  He is both the author of both physical and spiritual life

• Do you see the birds?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the fish?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the turtles?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the snakes?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the ants?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the elephants?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the cats?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the dogs?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the frogs?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the buffalo?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the wolves?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the bears?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the skunks?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the sharks?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the jellyfish?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the whales?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see the bees?  Jesus authored them!
• Do you see all the creatures?  Jesus authored them!

           Yes, Jesus authored all life and “in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him” (Colossians 1:16).  He is the One who gave us new life when we were dead in our trespasses and sin (Ephesians 2:1-10).  Wow!

           Read from any of this Author’s creations?  They are all around us.  There are tons of libraries with books full of His autographs.  People and all life is stamp with His ownership.  He authored the church.  Let us rejoice in this Author and read Him regularly, giving praise!

Dear Father I am grateful for my most favorite and beloved Author.  May I read Him regularly, learn from Him and apply to me life what He desires.  Yes, may this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of the Author!
