CONFESS AND HATE SIN!
CONFESS AND HATE SIN!
I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin. —Psalm 38:18
Does your sin “concern/trouble” you? If this is not the case when you sin, then something is really spiritually unhealthy. Our desire should be that of the psalmist in Psalm 119:133— “Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.” We should not be like the wicked —“In their own eyes they flatter themselves too much to detect or hate their sin.” No, instead we should “Hate what is evil; cling to what is good” (Romans 12:9).
So let us confess to the Lord what He already knows about us. He desires that we own it, turn from it, hate it and live for Him. Is this your desire? May it be so, Dear Father, by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rR_Rdb1CTE&list=RD_rR_Rdb1CTE&start_radio=1
