GOD SAYS OF THE FOOL…

GOD SAYS OF THE FOOL…

They exchanged their glorious God for something disgraceful. —Hosea 4:7

Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles…. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. —Romans 1:22-23, 25

Man has this propensity to “exchange the truth of God for something disgraceful.”  It can only lead to “something disgraceful” when one turns away from God and replaces Him with something else.  When people do this, “exchange the truth of God for something disgraceful,” They “claim to be wise” and yet God said “they became fools” when they “They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.”  So instead of worshipping and serving the creator, man exchanges that truth to serve created things.  What are some of these “created” things man serves? —

  • They serve themselves by thinking they are the “god” of their own lives
  • They serve false religious systems that they themselves devised
  • They serve the created things through what is falsely called “climate change” which is an accepted religious cult of day

They are really only two that will be worshipped— the Creator of all things or anything that is created— whether living or devised.  Listen to what God says!  Those who think they are wise have become fools.  Why?  From Romans 1:18-32 we read—

  • The fool suppresses the truth by their wickedness
  • The fool suppresses what is plain to them
  • The fool suppresses what is clearly seen
  • The fool suppresses what is understood from what is made (creation)
  • The fool suppresses what is clearly seen
  • The fool has no excuse
  • The fool is not thankful to God
  • The fool has futile thinking
  • The fool has a heart that is darkened
  • The fool follows the desire of his own heart
  • The fool exchanged the truth about God for a lie
  • The fool becomes sexually immoral
  • The fool does not think it worthwhile to retain knowledge of God
  • The fool had a depraved mind
  • The fool does what ought not to be done
  • The fool becomes filled with every kind of wickedness

“The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”  They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good” (Psalm 14:1).

Don’t be a fool!  Look to our Creator and worship Him!  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  May it be so and all for Your honor and glory!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZvrnii9XhA
