TIME IS IN HIS HANDS (My Time Is In His Hands)

TIME IS IN HIS HANDS! (My Time Is In His Hands)

He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down. —Psalm 103:19

For thousands of years the moon has “marked the seasons” and kept time.  The sun also “knows when to go down.”  How many full moons have you lived?  That can be figured out easily because of the accuracy of time the moon keeps.  How many sunrises and sunsets have you lived?  Again, that is easy to figure out because of the accuracy of time the sun keeps.  From the beginning “of time” the Sun and moon have continued to keep accurate time.  You can absolutely depend on them to keep time.

Think of the intricacies of a mechanical watch as its “hands” keep time—  https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=How+does+a+watch+keep+time&mid=3F8C8F0B551456D5B0203F8C8F0B551456D5B020&mcid=8F1C61665491437A96A4742008FDE6DD&FORM=VIRE The watch has a watchmaker and if I told you that it did not and I really believed that, you would think I had lost my mind and rightly so.  Yet people can look at the sun and the moon’s time keeping and conclude that this intricate time keeping of these “hands” just happened or evolved by random chance.  Really?  Explain to me how time keeping evolves!  To believe that is absolutely ridiculous.  It is as ridiculous as saying a watched evolved to what it is today and is keeping accurate time.  A person who really believes that has lost their mind and “come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will” (II Timothy 2:26).

I think I will trust in God’s Word, not man’s—

“And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.” —Genesis 1:14-20

I will stand by the fact that it took a watchmaker to make a watch and a Creator to set the moon and sun to keep time as well.  https://youtu.be/wDgmJFw6F64?t=84  Yes, Dear Father, what a joy to see Your moon setting this morning.  So beautiful!  May I rejoice in Your time by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.
