THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL COME— BE READY!
THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL COME— BE READY!
And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. —Joel 2:30-32
I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. —Acts 2:19-21
I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” —Revelation 6:12-16
The “day of the Lord” is coming. Be sure that these prophecies will come to pass just as our Lord has shown us.
At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” —Hebrews 12:26-29
Yes, He will show “wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes.” Oh yes, that day of the Lord is coming. The good news has always been the good news “And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” This is true now and it will be true then. Have you called on Jesus to save you? If not, I encourage you to do so now. We never know when we will draw our last breath or when that “day of the Lord” will take place, but we are drawing closer to it! Either way, won’t you call on Jesus now? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw&t=208s
When the “day of the Lord” arrives, “the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” If you are not ready, please, get ready! Yes, Dear Father, if there are any who are reading this, may they call on Jesus now. May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son. Yes, may this be so and all for Your honor and glory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_gBpvihKcQ
