EVERY PERSON IS RELIGIOUS!

EVERY PERSON IS RELIGIOUS!

The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. —Job 33:4

Where did you come from?  Actually, the greater question is— Where did the human race come from?  Or, an even greater question is— Where did all life come from?  A still greater question is— Where did everything come from?  These are actually very simple questions to answer for those who have the right answer.  For those who have the wrong answer they have to use imagination, speculation, assumption, regurgitation and sometimes outright deception!

Everything comes from something.  Nothing exists out of nothing.  Nobody and nothing can do that.  When you do not believe that “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1) or that “Through (Jesus) all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made” (John 1:3) and “For in (Jesus) all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through (Jesus) and for (Jesus)” (Colossians 1:16) and so it is that “In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe” (Hebrews 1:1-2).  When you don’t believe these simple, straight forward statements about our and everything’s origins, then you have to come up with some “theory” or explanation.

What it really comes down to is that man does not want to come to God His way and so they come up with other “religious” ideas.  Everyone is “religious.”  When many people say they are not “religious” it is because they think being “religious” is only ascribed to those who believe/worship in someone/something greater than themselves.  But being “religious” is also “a pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme importance.” —Definition from Oxford Languages.  So, what is of the very most importance to you is your “religion” and what you “worship.”   (    ) is of supreme importance to me.  Whatever you put in that parenthesis is what you “worship.”

Oh, that we would acknowledge Who has created us and all things and then live for Him according to His desires and purposes.  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlSmG-_eJTU&t=1s
