THE LORD IS FULLY TRUSTWORTHY
The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. The LORD is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed. —Psalm 28:7-8
The Lord—
- Is my strength. I am weak and His strength is seen through weakness (II Corinthians 12:9)
- Is my shield. I am protected from all the flaming arrows of the evil one (Ephesians 6:11)
- Is in whom my heart trusts fully. I trust Him to guide me (Proverbs 3:5-6)
- Is my help. He who created the heavens and earth can help me (Psalm 121:2)
- Is the one my heart exalts. He is exalted to the highest place (Philippians 2:9)
- Is the One I sing thanks to. Thank Him for Who He is and all He has done (Psalm 136)
- Is my refuge. I am safe in Him (Psalm 91:2)
