JESUS, KING OF GLORY!

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. —Romans 14:8

So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God. —Romans 14:12

Who is he, this King of glory?  The Lord Almighty— he is the King of glory. —Psalm 24:10

Ears that hear and eyes that see— the Lord has made them both. —Proverbs 20:12

Jesus said to His disciples and that includes me and you, brothers and sisters, fellow followers/disciples of Jesus—

“Then he turned to his disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.” —Luke 10-23-24

Rejoice and praise our Lord that He has opened our eyes so we can see and opened our ears that we could hear.  If He had not done that for us, we would still be blind and deaf to His Word and ways.  So now, “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”  Yes, let us live for our Lord because of our love for Him, knowing also that “each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.”  So let us live faithfully for Him!

“Who is he, this King of glory?  The Lord Almighty— he is the King of glory.”  Oh yes, here is a “time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.”  Yes, King Jesus will come one day—

“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.  His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.” —Revelation 19:11-16

Dear Father, truly, l look forward to seeing my King of glory, Jesus.  My desire is to be faithful to Your plan to make disciples that in turn do the same until all hear that will be hearing.  I am just a simple person and can do nothing on my own.  If You are going to reach people through me, You need to do the work You said You would do and I need to be faithful to what You desire of me.  May I be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So be it!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aqo-adRyM_k&list=RDAqo-adRyM_k&start_radio=1
