NOTHING IS TOO DIFFICULT FOR OUR LORD… NOTHING!
While the harpist was playing, the hand of the Lord came on Elisha and he said, “This is what the Lord says: I will fill this valley with pools of water. For this is what the Lord says: You will see neither wind nor rain, yet this valley will be filled with water, and you, your cattle and your other animals will drink. This is an easy thing in the eyes of the Lord; he will also deliver Moab into your hands. —II Kings 3:15-18
Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few. Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side.” —II Kings 4:3-4
Then Elisha said, “Call her.” So he called her, and she stood in the doorway. “About this time next year,” Elisha said, “you will hold a son in your arms.” “No, my lord!” she objected. “Please, man of God, don’t mislead your servant!” But the woman became pregnant, and the next year about that same time she gave birth to a son, just as Elisha had told her. —II Kings 14:15-17
In Lystra there sat a man who was lame. He had been that way from birth and had never walked. He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed and called out, “Stand up on your feet!” At that, the man jumped up and began to walk. —Acts 14:8-10
“This is an easy thing in the eyes of the Lord.” Whether it is providing a huge quantity of water for a vast army and its animals or multiplying containers of oil to sell to sustain a family or foretelling a barren woman she is going to have a child in a year or causing a lame man to walk— “Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you” (Jeremiah 32:7).
Keep that in mind that truly “Nothing is too hard for you.” Our Lord can do anything He desires. So, what does He want to do through your life? What He desires to do, He will do. Be sure of that! We are to “throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith” (Hebrews 12:1-2). So, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and then run the race He has marked out for you! Yes, Dear Father, may I do so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. Help to know the course and stay on it. May it be so! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8r0eA49MZ0w&list=RD8r0eA49MZ0w&start_radio=1
