ETERNALLY SAFE AND SECURE IN THE FATHER AND IN THE SON

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.  My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.  I and the Father are one.”  Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”  “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.” —John 10:27-33

The Jewish “opponents” knew exactly what Jesus thought about Himself as to Who He was/is.  They said, when they wanted to stone Him, “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”  Yes, the Jews knew His claim.  I have heard people say, “Jesus never claimed to be God.”  Well, they are in disagreement with the Jewish people of Jesus’ day.  They knew that Jesus did claim to be God and wanted to kill Him for blasphemy.  I will go with their testimony and not some modern-day skeptic looking for an excuse not to believe.

Think about this.  As a follower of Jesus—

  • I listen to Him
  • He knows me
  • I follow Him
  • He gives me eternal life
  • I will never perish
  • I will never be snatch out of His hand
  • He was gifted me by His Father
  • He has said His father is greater than all
  • He said nobody can snatch them out of His Father’s hand
  • He and His Father are one

Yes, I will believe what Jesus says over what man says.  Thank You, Dear Father, that I am safe and secure for all eternity.  Jesus said it and I believe it!  Now, out of great gratitude, may I live for You faithfully by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rKKybs7o2Q&list=RD1rKKybs7o2Q&start_radio=1
