ONLY JESUS!

ONLY JESUS!

No one can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for them—the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough— so that they should live on forever and not see decay… But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead; he will surely take me to himself.  —Psalm 49:7-9, 15

What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? —Mark 8:36-37

If all the people that lived past, present and future said they would die for you, all their deaths could not redeem you from sin and to a relationship with God.  Sin is an eternal issue.  Even if you could own the whole world, that would not redeem you, that would not save you from sin and the eternal death— separation from God forever in hell.  Do you understand how valuable you are to God?

No man, or number of men, can redeem you or me.  No amount of wealth and possessions can redeem you or me.  No amount of earthly power of prestige can redeem you and me.  Only God can redeem us.  Only He that is eternal can take care of the eternal sin problem in our lives.  How can He do that?

“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.  Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.” —I Peter 1:18-23

God provided the way to be forgiven, redeemed and to have eternal life with Him and live for Him now.  It was through the substitutionary death of Jesus on the cross for our sins that He enabled to be redeemed— https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw&t=132s “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).  Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).  He also said, “I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins” (John 8:24).  There are two positions to die in— 1- In your sins as mentioned here and 2- In Christ— “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (II Corinthians 5:17).  We are new creatures in Jesus because “God (our Father) made him (Jesus) who had no sin to be sin (substitutionary death) for us, so that in him (Jesus) we might become the righteousness of God” (II Corinthians 5:21).  That is the only way to be redeemed, saved, forgiven and become God’s child.  “And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation” (Revelation 5:9).  Are you among that number?  Will you be among that number?  Time is running out!  Call on Jesus now to save you from your sin and to a relation with God through Him.  “I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation” (II Corinthians 6:2).  Dear Father, please encourage those who do not know You that are reading this to call on Jesus now.  Yes, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXIBP2BdYR8
