For behold, he who forms the mountains and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought, who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the LORD, the God of hosts, is his name! —Amos 4:13
When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?” Revelation 6:12-17
The One “who forms the mountains and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought, who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the LORD, the God of hosts, is his name” and He will carry out His purposes. There are those now in positions of authority that wield power as if they have the last world. They don’t! Our Lord will have the final word and what He says is what really matters.
Yes, those in power positions so often abuse the authority they have. But a time is coming, and it will come, when 25% of the earth’s population will be killed. Soon after—

Yes, when that time comes, terror will fill the hearts of every person— “the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free.” All who know not our Lord Jesus will seek to “themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, calling to the mountains and rocks.” They want to hide from Jesus because they know “the wrath of the Lamb, for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?” None can stand before the Great I AM!
