SATANICALLY MOTIVATED SLAUGHTER OF THE DEFENSELESS
Then the king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, one of whom was named Shiphrah and the other Puah, “When you serve as midwife to the Hebrew women and see them on the birthstool, if it is a son, you shall kill him, but if it is a daughter, she shall live.” But the midwives feared God and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but let the male children live. So the king of Egypt called the midwives and said to them, “Why have you done this, and let the male children live?” The midwives said to Pharaoh, “Because the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women, for they are vigorous and give birth before the midwife comes to them.” So God dealt well with the midwives. And the people multiplied and grew very strong. And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families. Then Pharaoh commanded all his people, “Every son that is born to the Hebrews you shall cast into the Nile, but you shall let every daughter live.” —Exodus 2:15-22
There are those in governmental leadership positions that are simply evil and want to destroy life. Pharaoh commanded the midwives to kill all the Hebrew boys that were born. The mid-wives would not do it and gave Pharaoh a reason for why they were not doing it. So when Pharaoh saw that the Hebrew midwives would not do what he commanded, he then commanded his own people to kill all the boys born to the Hebrew women. Yes, the Pharaoh ordered the Egyptians to carry out infanticide on the newly born Hebrew babies. The midwives feared God and would not do it. But those who do not fear God will do it. They will kill the most vulnerable among us— babies. This is Satan’s work and people who perform abortions or infanticide are in “the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will” (II Timothy 2:26).
So it is today. There are evil people in governmental positions and in the medical field who are in “the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.” They are slaughtering the most defenseless among us— babies in the womb. Why? It is for money their love of money and the LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL KINDS OF EVIL (I Timothy 6:10). Evil people in our government have made it “lawful” to murder and evil medical people are willing to carry out that “murder for hire” because of their love for money.
Oh Dear Father, have mercy and please turn the tide of this evil, satanically motivated thinking and wickedness that has gripped many in government, in the medical field and people’s thinking in general. Please help them come to their senses and escape Satan’s trap of doing his will— slaughtering babies.
