But we desire to hear from you what your views are, for with regard to this sect we know that everywhere it is spoken against.” When they had appointed a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in greater numbers. From morning till evening he expounded to them, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets. And some were convinced by what he said, but others disbelieved. —Acts 28:22-24

He lived there two whole years at his own expense, and welcomed all who came to him, proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance. —Acts 28:30–31

When Paul was in Rome, after having appealed to Caesar, Jews there desired to hear his views.  These Roman Jews said, “this sect we know that everywhere it is spoken against.”  So “When they had appointed a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in greater numbers. From morning till evening he expounded to them, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.”  Paul had full days of sharing from the Old Testament as he testified “to the kingdom of God” and as he shared about Jesus, trying to convince them as to Who He Is.

What were the results? — “And some were convinced by what he said, but others disbelieved.”  So it will be with us.  There will be those who believe and there will be those who do not.  There will be those who come to be convinced as to Who Jesus Is and there will be those who will not be convinced.  What is our responsibility?  To share God’s Word with people.  The way they respond is their responsibility.  Are we faithful with our responsibility?

Paul was under “house arrest” with a soldier guarding him.  He lived in that house for two years at his own expense.  Many came to him and he welcomed them as he proclaimed “the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.”  Wow… for two years Paul did this!

What is our situation?  Are we proclaiming “the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance” as Paul did?  We are probably not limited in our movements as Paul was for two years.  Are we sharing Jesus with those we come in contact with?  If so, praise the Lord for the opportunities.  Some will believe and others will not.  But if we are not sharing Jesus with others, why not?  Surely, nobody will come to believe through us if we do not share Him with others.  Oh, Dear Father, today please guide me to those You desire me to share Jesus with.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of our Lord Jesus, Your Son.  So may it be! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rn9-UNer6MQ
