LISTEN… AND WALK IN HIS TRUTH!

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” —Matthew 11:28-30

Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. —Psalm 86:11

            Where do we turn when we have a burden?  How do we seek to find rest?  Jesus invites us to come to Him.  He will give us “rest.”  How does that happen?  Again, Jesus invites us to learn from Him and we will find rest for our souls.  He does not make things hard and He is not burdensome.  So let us go to Him, not only when we have burdens, but at all times!

            Is it truly our desire for Him to teach us?  Are we faithfully listening to Him and then walking in the truth that He has shown us?  That is how we will find rest!  Oh, that our hearts would have the right focus and be one with His.  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zaaiFp4RSM
