BE FAITHFUL IN THE MIDST OF THIS CORRUPT GENERATION!

You have wearied the LORD with your words. But you say, “How have we wearied him?” By saying, “Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in them.” —Malachi 2:17

            God is “wearied” toward those who say, “Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in them.”  Our Lord endures with them.  Surely that is the case today when so many are doing evil and calling it good.  Even in their evil doing they are still asking for justice.  They are blind in their understanding.  These people are saying that our Lord is accepting evil and even calling it good.  How perversely corrupt their thinking is!  They surely need to “come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will” (II Timothy 2:26).  Surely our Lord is “wearied” with the corruption of our day!

            But you and I, brother and sister, fellow followers of Jesus, are to be faithful in the midst of “this corrupt generation” (Acts 2:40).  “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).  There you have it!  The times may be corrupt and darkening, but we are to remain faithful to Jesus and so, Dear Father, may we do so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  Yes, so may it be that we remain faithful to Him!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLX83HbefrI
