PRAY AGAINST WICKED PERVERSIONS
And they knew her and abused her all night until the morning. And as the dawn began to break, they let her go. And as morning appeared, the woman came and fell down at the door of the man’s house where her master was, until it was light. —Judges 19:25-26
That is what worthless men of the Benjaminites of Gibeah did to this woman. Sexual perverted men allowed their sexual perversions rule over them and attacked the house where this woman and her husband were staying. They took the woman and abused here all night long. The woman made it back to the house she was staying at. She arrived in the morning, after the worthless sexual perverts let her go, and there she died at the door where she was staying.
Those overtaken by sexual perversion do not have control over themselves. If given the opportunity they will prey on others. They will also seek out opportunities to prey on others. Let me tell you a story of what happen to me when I was of high school age.
I was hitchhiking home which was about 30 minutes away from whare I was. It was about 10pm or so. A car stopped to pick me up. I checked the license plate and it was an out of state plate so I just made a note of caution about that in my mind. There was just the driver in the car. I got in and off we went. We came up to a back road that went to the town I lived in and I thought, “If he turns off here to go the back way, then I better be on high alert as to his intentions.” Sure enough, he turned off the main road onto that back road and then said, “There is some pot (marijuana) in the glove box if you want some.” I said, “No thanks, I’m fine.” Now I was concerned about his intentions.
As we approached a large cemetery on that back road I thought, “If he turns into this cemetery I need to start developing an escape plan.” Sure enough, he said, “Let’s turn in here for a while.” Ok, now I was on red alert. He drove all the way down to the end corner of the cemetery, stopped the car and said some perverted things I will not repeat. I looked over and he was masturbating! Again, he said some perverted things to me… and I said, “Wait just a minute. I have to go to the bathroom.”
I got out of car, got into the blind spot of his vision and ran as fast as I could across the cemetery. I was half-way across the cemetery before he knew it. I heard him start the car, but by this time I was in the road running as fast as I could. He came speeding up the cemetery, squealing his tires on the asphalt as he turned in the direction I was running. When the lights came onto the road, I lay in a deep ditch. He passed me. I got up and continued walking, wondering about making it to the police station. He came back by me, looking for me and each time I ducked into the ditch. I made may way though back alleys to the police station and sat on the steps, thinking about reporting him when he drove up and said, “Come on, I will take you home.” I said, “Yeh, I don’t think so” and went in the station to report him. The police arrested him a couple weeks later as he tried to assault someone else.
Sexual perverts, sexual deviants, need to “come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will” (II Timothy 2:26). What happened to me happened in the early 1970’s. I have shared my story with other guys and I have heard many like stories from them. The sexually perverted are demonically influenced to prey on others.
Look how far we have come. Now we have what happened to me openly encouraged by adults toward young students in our schools. This lifestyle of perversion is presented as normal. It is far from it and needs to be opposed. First through prayer and then through whatever action our Lord would have us take to protect our youth. This is spiritual warfare. Pray! Our nation, and the world is under sexual perverted attack by the adversary and demons work through people to accomplish Satan’s desires. He destroying lives and seeks to destroy as many as possible.
