TRUST OUR LORD GOD ALMIGHTY TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE!
TRUST OUR LORD GOD ALMIGHTY TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE!
Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.” —Psalm 18:14
I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? —Jeremiah 32:27
The answer to the question “Is there anything too hard for the Lord?” of course is no! Our Lord, the Creator and Sustainer of all things, is all powerful. He can do anything He desires. Can a woman that is barren have a child? If our Lord desires it to happen, it will and it did in the case of Sarah. Can a virgin who has never had sexual relations have a child? If it is our Lord’s will that will happen and wonders of wonders it did happen with Mary. Not only did it happen with Mary, but Mary was greatly blessed in bearing the Messiah, our Savior, God in the flesh— Immanuel— God with us! This is astounding, but nothing, absolutely nothing is impossible with our Lord! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOh7nyujT_0
Look at the Universe He created or even the wonders of our world. God did it all and that was not difficult for Him. He spoke it and it came into existence. Let us be encouraged as we read through His Word at all the powerful things He has done. Let that be an encouragement to what He can do today if He so desires. What situation do you find yourself in that appears difficult? Do you believe our Lord can work in it to accomplish His will and be beneficial to you and others? Of course He can. But let our attitude be like that of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego— “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up” (Daniel 3:17-18). May we trust His plans and purposes and trust Him for doing things that are far from our ability. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6fA35Ved-Y
Yes, Dear Father, I know You can do whatever You decide. May I trust You in whatever circumstance I find myself in and encourage others to do the same. Nothing escapes Your notice. Nothing hinders Your plans and purposes. We can trust You fully and may I do so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. So be it!
