GOD HAS NO PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF THE WICKED!

Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord GOD, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live? —Ezekiel 18:23

Again, when a wicked person turns away from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he shall save his life. Because he considered and turned away from all the transgressions that he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die. —Ezekiel 18:27-28

For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord GOD; so turn, and live. —Ezekiel 18:32

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. —Hebrews 13:8

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” —Romans 10:13; Acts 2:21; Joel 2:32

God’s desire is not only for Israel to repent, but for all people— “Say to them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?’” (Ezekiel 33:11).  He is very patient— “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (II Peter 3:9).  Yes, He is very patient…

God’s desire is for people to “turn from his way and live” — to turn away “from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he shall save his life.”   “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” and the message is still the same today— “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord” (Acts 3:19).  Yes and “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  Jesus has not changed and the message has not changed!

Dear Father I am so grateful that You were and are patient with me.  May I, out of the gratitude of my heart, seek to live for You because of my love for You.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_ZWEO36jok
