COMMUNICATE WITH OUR LORD AND SERVE HIM!

Thus says the LORD who made the earth, the LORD who formed it to establish it—the LORD is his name: Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. —Jeremiah 33:2-3

And let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful. —Titus 3:14

            Are you calling on His Name?  Do you expect Him to answer?  He says to us that He “will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”  How will this happen?  How will He reveal these things to us?  It is by spending time with Him.  Talking with Him and listening to Him… listen!  This is the promise our Lord has made to us.  He who made the earth and established it desires us to communicate with Him.  May we do so!

            What are the works He has for you?  “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10).  Are you involved in the work God has for you?  What is the work God has for you?  How do you know what the work He has for you?  The answer?  Spend time communicating with Him and listen!

            What urgent needs around us are there?  We are told to help in those cases so we will not be unfruitful.  Talk with Him today about the work He desires of you.  Then be faithful in what He desires so you will be fruitful for His honor and glory and for the benefit of others and yourself! “The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakes morning by morning, he wakes my ear to hear as the learned” (Isaiah 50:4).  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsQmsEE_2-s

Oh, Dear Father may I listen to what You say to me and be faithful in carrying out Your desires for me.  May I do the work You have prepared for me in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So be it!
