YOU ARE SENT!

YOU ARE SENT!

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” —Isaiah 6:8

            When we understand at least some of what the glory of our Lord is, Who He is, then we will have the desire to do His will.  When He wants us to go, we will go and when He wants us to stay, we will stay.  We will be ready to be obedient to His desires because of Who He is, His love for us and our love for Him and people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ODe4sGCKxc

            Jesus said, “As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world” (John 17:18).  Are we being faithful and obedient to where He is sending us?  He has sent us into the world to be witnesses and disciple-makers through His power (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:16-20).  So how are you and I doing in these areas?  Are we desiring and seeking to be faithful?  Or… are we just living life the way we desire to live life?  Are we just doing what we desire to be doing?  Oh, that we would be faithful to what He desires to do in and through our lives!  We have been sent!

May this be so Dear Father— that I would be faithful to where you desire to send me and may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Dear Son Jesus.
