Have you ever caused anyone to be born by speaking words? Did your spoken words every create anything physical? Has anything come into being just by you saying words? Yeh, I don’t think so!
God alone creates something out of nothing by speaking His Word! His Word causes people to be born-again. Those born-again were born the first time physically, but they were born-again when they read or heard the Word of God, the Holy Spirit convincing them who Jesus is and what He had done on the cross, through the resurrection, the ascension and that He is coming again. This was the good news that a person received, believed and responded to and the result was being born-again by the Spirit of God, having trusted in the Son of God who was sent by God His Father and drew you to Jesus! Wow!
This is not a great thing for our Lord God Almighty to do… to cause someone to be born-again by His Word. He caused all of creation to come into existence by His Word. He spoke and it happened (Genesis chapter 1)— Day 1— He spoke and light was created and He separated the light for the darkness forming day and night. Day 2— He spoke and made the sky. Day 3— He spoke and created the land and seas. Day 4— He spoke and made the sun, moon and stars. Day 5— He spoke and made the fish and fowl. Day 6— He spoke and made the animals and man. Now… whose word will you put your trust in?
