THANKFULNESS TO OUR CREATOR!

 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. —Psalm 19:1-4

 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. —Romans 1:20

             Look into the night sky or do so during the day.  The sky proclaims the “handiwork” of God.  The entire world has access to this wordless communication.  Deny the message and your thinking becomes futile, foolish and darkened (Romans 1:21).  Deny it and you may claim to be wise, but God says you are a fool (Romans 1:22).  Deny the Creator and you will end up worshipping and serving created things.  Deny the Creator and you will think or practice sexuality that is against God’s design.  Deny the Creator and it is a slippery slope into depravity (Romans 1:28-31).  Deny the Creator and you will align with others who do so (Romans 1:32).

            How thankful I am on this Thanksgiving of 2021 that I know the Creator, that He revealed Himself to me, not only through Creation, but also through His Word as His Holy Spirit opened my eyes to see the Truth of Who Jesus is, of what He has done on the cross, through His resurrection, that He ascended back to heaven and is coming again.  Yes, I am so thankful for the salvation from sin and to a relation with God through Jesus that I have.

            On this Thanksgiving let us truly give Him thanks, but let us do so every day!  Yes, Dear Father I thank You for all that You have done for me through Your Son, what You are doing for me now and what You will do for me.  May I live a grateful life by being faithful to Your desires.  Yes, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So be it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHp8eThI2qk
