PARTNER TO SHARE THE GOSPEL!

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. —Philippians 1:3-6

            Paul was so thankful for the Philippians who had “partnership in the gospel” with him.  How wonderful to have relationships that are focused on serving together to promote the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Every time Paul remembered the Philippians he thanked God for them.  With joy he prayed for them and trusted with confidence “that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

            The question is— Who are you and I partnering with specifically to be advancing the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ?  Who are the people we are encouraging to share the gospel and how are those people encouraging us?  Do I want to partner with others who are sharing the gospel?  Am I willing to be stirred on to be sharing the gospel?  Is my desire to be advancing the gospel?  Answers to these questions will say something about who I am and my priorities. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw
