PREPARATION FOR THE DAY

PREPARATION FOR THE DAY

Give ear to my words, O LORD; consider my groaning. Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray. O LORD, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch. —Psalm 5:1-3

The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. —Isaiah 50:4

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. —Acts 4:13

Did you spend time with Jesus this morning?  We can talk with Him anytime through the day, but have you started your day by being with Jesus?  If you really want to know Him and really want to live for Him then you have to learn from Him.  It was noted by the Jewish leaders the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were “unschooled and ordinary men.”  What made the difference in these men’s lives?  It was because “these men had been with Jesus.”

Want to have this courage of Peter and John as they served our Lord?  Then spend time with Jesus!  Want to be able and ready to serve the needy you come into contact with throughout your day?  Then meet with Jesus morning by morning.  Be consistent in starting your day with Him.  We listen and learn from Him.  He teaches us what we are to speak as we come into contact with those He desires us to communicate with and serve.  Be prepared by Jesus in the morning! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2Y2LUwKz3A

In the morning talk with Him.  In the morning listen to Him.  In the morning be prepared by Him for the day ahead.  In the morning…

Dear Father may I meet with Jesus morning by morning to talk with Him and to listen to Him and be prepared by Him.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So be it.
