WHERE MY HELP COMES FROM
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” —Matthew 11:28-30
Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. —Matthew 12:30
For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” —Matthew 12:50
Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. —Psalm 100:3
Are you with Jesus? If not, they you are against Him! Are you gathering with Jesus? If not you are scattering. Are you doing the will of Jesus’ Father? If not, then you are not his brother or sister or mother! Are you coming to Jesus? If not then you are carrying your own burdens and laboring on your own. You are not finding rest. You do not know the Lord is God. You do not know that He made us. You are not His, not one of His people and not one of His sheep. That is a very sad place to be.
But those who are with Jesus are for Jesus. Those who are gathering with Jesus are not scattering. Those who are doing the will of Jesus’ Father are his brother or sister or mother! Those who are coming to Jesus have Him carrying their burdens and laboring for them. They are finding rest. You know the Lord is God. You know that He made us. You are His, one His people and one of His sheep. That is a very wonderful place to be!
Dear Father it is such a joy to know Jesus, to serve Jesus and to know that I will be with Him some day. Oh, I so look forward to that day. Thank You for all You have done for me in Him. Thank You for Who You are. You are Awesome! Even so, come Lord Jesus. Until then, may I be faithful through the power of Your Holy Spirit and by the authority of Your Son Jesus.
