SING PRAISE!

SING PRAISE!

Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you. Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, O God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness. 15 O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise. 16 —Psalm 51:9-15

Brothers and Sisters let us not be deceived. Sin breaks our fellowship with God. We should go immediately to God when we have known sin in our lives, confess it and have Him cleanse our heart and then do what is right. Not only is our fellowship broken but we will not have the powerful workings in our life of God’s Holy Spirit.   Sin quenches and grieves His Holy Spirit (I Thessalonians 5:19; Ephesians 4:30). The joy of our salvation is stymied and this will continue until we have a willingness to confess and do what is right. When we truly come to God in repentance and confession then He forgives (I John 1:9). Fellowship is restored. Our heart is cleansed. We can do what is right because the power of His Holy Spirit is working again in and through our life. We experience the joy of our salvation again!

What we learn in our failures we can teach others so hopefully they will not repeat our failure. We can share with others God’s ways that sinners will repent and return to God.   We will have a loud song in our hearts because of God’s deliverance on our lives and because of His righteousness.   Yes, knowing the mercy and grace of God will open our mouths and lips to declare His praise. Brother and Sister let us be full of joy, thanksgiving, gratitude, and songs of praise because of our Lord God Almighty, King, Creator and Ruler over all. Rejoice in Him! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbILLkOmLdc

Dear Father I am so thankful for Your patience with me. I am also so thankful for Your forgiveness, for your cleansing, for Your fellowship and for the joy of salvation. You do all things well and for our benefit. May I follow You closer and more faithfully. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it.
