MAN’S EVIL NATURE

By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed, by the fire and smoke and sulfur coming out of their mouths. For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails, for their tails are like serpents with heads, and by means of them they wound. The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts. —Revelation 9:18-21

     The wickedness of man is clearly seen in the passage above, but also in our world today.   Know that these judgments are coming directly from God. He is orchestrating them. Still, even though a third of mankind dies, man still will not repent. They continue to worship demons and will not repent— not turn from their wicked ways to follow God’s righteous ways. Instead they were still murderous, sorcery practitioners, sexual immoral and thieves.

     Worshippers of demons— Instead of turning to God for salvation and then live a life pleasing to Him, these worshippers of demons are in “the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will” (II Timothy 2:26).  They are religious people. They are worshipping, but they are worshipping the devil. All who are not following our Lord Jesus Christ fall into this category. They are self-centered, driven by their desires as Satan leads them. He has them captive to do his will.

     Demon worshippers are capable of anything. Just as in the days of Baal worship when children were offered in sacrificed alive, so today children in the womb are slaughtered alive in sacrifice to the god of convenience. These people have no problem killing a child in the womb even to the point of a child being partially born (partial birth abortion) or if a child survives an abortion they have no problem leaving that child by itself to die. This is progression? No, it is regression.

     Sexual immorality in a culture definitely shows its decline. It also shows the movement toward final judgment of this world. Sexual immorality throughout the world indicates that we are surely moving quickly toward the end of this age. Governments are legalizing all kinds of sexual immorality as normal. This is an utter stench to God and judgment will come because of it.

     Life becomes cheap in declining cultures. Not only to the point of killing the innocents, but also of taking/stealing the property of others. Surely if it is no problem to take the life of another then it is no problem to these murderous culprits to steal the property of others. Cultures and the world are declining toward the “days of Noah” when every thought of man was evil continually. God brought judgment on that generation by a world-wide flood (Genesis 6-9) and God will bring judgment on the final generation by fire (II Peter 3:3:7). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On-whMoulOM

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been (Revelation 6:9-11).

Dear Father I am so grateful to know that You are in control and that events in this world are moving toward this age’s finality. Heaven… oh I so look forward to that place where Jesus is and all who love Him. May I finish well in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.   So bit it!
