All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, “What have you done? —Daniel 4:35

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, The world, and all who live in it. —Psalm 24:1

 Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales;

he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust.   Lebanon is not sufficient for altar fires, nor its animals enough for burnt offerings. Before him all the nations are as nothing;

they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing. —Isaiah 40:15-17

Has God got our attention? Are we humbling ourselves before Him yet? Will we? Are we desperately calling on His Name? Are we truly seeking Him and being committed to do His will? How many people say they cannot believe in a God they cannot see?   Do they believe in this virus impacting the world that they cannot see? By the reaction of people I would say they surely do. People believe what they desire to believe which is seen in their actions. So to not believe in a God they cannot see is just a choice that they make. Why? It is because they want to be the god of their own life. But this God that they cannot see has their destiny in His hands.   To call on Jesus to be saved from sin and to a relationship with Him is eternal life. When one dies they then will be in heaven with Him. To all those who do not call on Him, well, their destiny is hell forever.

            God is AWESOME in all that He is. Compared to Him all who have lived, are living or will live are accounted as nothing before Him. None can stay His hand and He will do whatever He desires. This virus has either come directly from Him or He has allowed it to happen. Either way He is seeking to encourage people to repent and trust in Him. It is truly amazing that as small as we are and He not only created us, but loves us and desires that we trust Him, be forgiven by Him, love Him and live with Him forever in that perfect place— heaven.

            Well I hope He has our attention and that we do what He desires. Whether a person dies from this virus or something else— death will come to us all. We better be ready to meet our Maker because we will all appear before Him whether we believe that or not!

Dear Father for those reading this and have not called on Jesus to be saved from their sin and to a relationship with You through Him, may they do so. Thank You that You can be fully trusted. I am grateful to know Jesus and to know where I am going when death comes. Out of gratitude may I live faithfully for You in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYZw0dfLmLk&t=40s
