THE ONLY SURE CORNERSTONE!

So this is what the Lord GOD says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will never be put to shame. —Isaiah 28:16

As it is written: “See, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense: and the one who believes in Him will never be put to shame.” —Romans 9:33

It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame. —Romans 10:11

For it stands in Scripture: “See, I lay in Zion a stone, a chosen and precious cornerstone; and the one who believes in Him will never be put to shame.” —I Peter 2:6

            What or who is the cornerstone of your life? The cornerstone of a person’s life is what defines that life? What are some examples of people’s cornerstones? — Work, sex, drugs, alcohol, wealth, health, homes, family, cars, time usage… The list goes on as to what is the driving force, the supporting foundation, the measurement of a person’s life. So again, I ask what or who is the cornerstone of your life? Reflect on that and come to an honest conclusion.

            Jesus is the only lasting, Eternal Cornerstone.   A life that is measured and defined from Him is a life that will be lived for the glory of God and not for one’s one “glory.” Jesus is the only Cornerstone. All others that claim to be a cornerstone are defective and temporal. Now, am I measured, plumbed and leveled by a temporal cornerstone or to the Eternal Cornerstone? The answer to that question will reveal one’s eternal destiny— Heaven or Hell— those are the only choices. A person can believe it or not, but don’t wait until death to find out it is true! Thank You Dear Father for the Cornerstone of my life— Jesus. Now may I live according to Your desires by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son, Jesus. So be it!
