LACK OF LAW ENFORCEMENT ONLY INCREASES EVIL

Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil. —Ecclesiastes 8:11

            When evil is not dealt with speedily by the authorities, then evil will increase.   We have seen this in the U.S. with these riots that are taking place. Because the authorities are not doing much about it these riots have increased by spreading to many cities. There are those whose hearts are “fully set to do evil.” Many people, from what I read, are traveling from places they live to these cities where they do not live just to riot. That is their sole purpose in coming to these cities. The mayor and his leadership team of these cities and the governor and his leadership team of these states are responsible for the safety of their citizens. They are not doing their job and as long as that is the case these riots will increase.   They will not diminish. This is how unchecked evil works. It seeks to permeate a nation.

            Brother and sister may we be praying for our nation’s leaders that they will do the right thing. Oh that our leaders would indeed look out for the welfare of those they lead. May we pray for justice to be carried out on those who are instigating and financially supporting these riots. Yes, may those who are to be public servants serve the best interest of the people and not their own selfish desires. Yes, dear Father may this be directed by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son.
