I TRUST YOU, LORD, FOR GUIDANCE!

Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Deliver me from my enemies, O LORD! I have fled to you for refuge! Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground! —Psalm 143:8-10

            This morning I am reminded of my Lord’s “steadfast love.” I am so glad that His love is not dependant on my feelings or circumstances. I will continue to trust You whether my emotions are up or down. I will continue to trust You for there are no other like You to trust. I will trust You regardless of my feelings or circumstances.

            I look to You to “make me know the way I should go.” You promised to “instruct (me) and teach (me) in the way (I) should go; (You) will counsel (me) with (Your) loving eye on (me)” (Psalm 32:8). My desire is to love you with my entire whole person (Matthew 22:37-40) and that You and You alone would be my refuge. May it be so!

            Lord God Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, all that is seen and unseen, I ask You to

“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God!” Please “Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!” Help me to be sensitive to His guidance and be obedient to it. Yes Dear Father, may this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son, Jesus.
