FLEE THE COMING JUDGMENT!
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. —John 5:24
Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment. —John 5:28-29
You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life. —John 5:39-40
But I know that you do not have the love of God within you. I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him. —John 5:42-43
For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?”—John 5:46-47
You have all you need to know the Truth… if you want to know the Truth. You have no excuse (Romans 1:20). “Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:30-31). So… have you picked up a Bible, the Word of God, because you truly wanted to know the Truth? If not, why not? Maybe it is because you just don’t want to know the Truth and want to do what you want to do. You want to live life your own way and not God’s Way. If that is the case you show that “you don’t have the love of God within you.” This way of thinking though is going to lead you to an eternity of pain. As mentioned above you are headed for a “resurrection of judgment” (Revelation 20:11-15). That is where you are headed unless you believe what the Word of God says about Jesus.
It is amazing how this year of 2020 has seen a lockdown of the world because of this virus. A person that does not trust Jesus will trust another. At some point in the future the anti-Christ will come on the scene. This will be a satanically empowered individual that will deceive the world. Just imagine right now with all the fear people are experiencing if a guy came on the world scene with the supposed solution to this virus and many other thing to take away people’s fears. People would flock to that guy to be able to live a “normal life again.” If the virus can impact the whole world, this deceiver will do the same thing in a much greater way and people will totally yield to him. Yes, Jesus said there are those who would not accept Him, but they would accept another when he comes… and they will accept the anti-Christ… the devil himself. How sad…
But for those of us who have called on Jesus as shown by the evidence of living for Him, we have: 1-eternal life 2- no need to fear judgment ever because Jesus has taken that judgment for us 3- we have already passed from death to life. Fellow follower of Jesus let us rejoice in what our Father has done for us through His Son and by His Holy Spirit. Let us not only rejoice, but let us proclaim that others may know and be faithful to His desires.
